This unique expression of the Sage 5 takes that proprietary theme to the next level with a blade crafted from CPM SPY27. Developed exclusively for Spyderco this American-made stainless steel offers an outstanding balance of toughness edge retention and corrosion resistance. The full-flat-ground blade of this knife takes full advantage of these properties and faithfully maintains all the key features of the Sage 5 platform including a high-strength Compression Lock nested skeletonized stainless steel liners and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. Its peel-ply-textured G-10 scales also boast a distinctive cobalt-blue color-one of the signature hues of our CPM SPY27 family.
